When authors submit their manuscripts, the authors are required to follow the term and conditions specified by International Journal of Complex Systems Management and Interdisciplinary Studies (IJCS-MIS) as described in the following part.
To maintain the authenticity of the manuscript, the author must ensure that:
Manuscripts should be written concisely as possible, consistent, and straightforward. The length of the article is 15-20 pages in A4 size paper (around 3000-6000 words) including figures, tables, and appendix. Abstract should be written in good English and includes 5 keywords. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes. Also provide two-digit number classification of Journal of Economic Literature (JEL)
The IJCS-MIS requires the manuscript is presented in several sections: Introduction; Literature Review; Research Methodology; Result and Discussion; Conclusion; and References.
It covers background of study, motivation in writing the paper, problems, brief literature review that relates directly to research or previous findings that need to be developed, and ended with a paragraph of research purposes. It should be written in paragraphs.
This part describes the literatures related to the study. It may consists of primary references (grand theory, concept); journal articles (preferable published in the last 10 years); main idea from text book or electronic articles. For empirical study which uses hypotheses development, the literatures aim to strengthen the arguments for variable selection and each proposed hypothesis.
This section describes the research approach used in the study, underlines the data collection process, respondents list (for empirical study), and analysis process.
This part should describe informative results of empirical research which are
written systematically and critically. Tables and figures can be presented in this part to support the discussion, for examples table of statistics-test results, figures of model test results and etc. In general, journal papers will contain three-seven figures and tables. Same data cannot be presented in the form of tables and figures. Discussion of results should be argumentative and should point out on how the findings, theories, previous study and empirical facts are relevant and contributes something new to knowledge of economics development.
This section provides a brief conclusion of the study, also includes the managerial and theoretical implications, limitation, and direction for further study.
References
This section consists of all the references used in the article which should be between 15-40 references. We also emphasize the authors to use current literatures published within the last 10 years by following the APA style (see the example below).
Tables and Figures
Tables and Figures should be numbered separately, sequentially using Arabic numerals, and titled informatively. These should be presented on separate pages at the end of the manuscript. While in the manuscript, authors need to specify the table and figure location as follow:
Tables should be submitted as data - .doc, .rtf, Excel file-, while tables submitted as image data are not accepted since these cannot be edited for publication. Figures which are provided electronically must be in .tif or .gif file extensions. All figures and graphics must have good quality originals that allows for clear resolution of the image in its printed application.
Each table is completed by the year the data are processed. The form of the table should be written as in the following example. The title of the table is put on the top of the table, left margin. Figure title is written under the figure and graph using left margin.
